Day 15 Geldern DE – Billerbeck DE

This is the closest I’ve been to cycling on the road
Quite a few hills & single track – nice change

Last night I had a great stay at Hotel Rheinischer Hof, in Geldern. Staff & facilities were perfect. I was even provided 2 breakfasts.

Today’s ride took me through the Münsterland region of NW Germany. With its gentle hills, woodlands & farms – much better than I’d expected.

Lots of roadside cafes & ice-cream parlours en route. Unlike Belgium & Netherlands.
